The counselling team is responsible for the following programs:
New Convert Teaching
This program equips Christians with the foundational principles of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
For this purpose the Son of God was made manifest, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8b)
Deliverance Service
This affords the congregation the opportunity to experience the deliverance and healing power of God.
During this period, members are taken through strong teachings which enables them to discover the root cause of their challenges, confront it and deal with it based on the word of God.
Trained ministers minister to them individually, setting them free from the oppressions of the devil. They are then released into the various departments in the church where they discover their gifts and begin to flourish and do exploits for the Kingdom.
Intercessory Ministry
This is the prayer wing of the church. This ministry is made up of prayer warriors who wield spiritual battle axes for spiritual warfare and intercession. Its activities include, Solution Center: a program designed to spiritually minister to people through special prayer and intercession, prayer retreats and all nights etc.
Music Ministry
Worship Team, Family Choir, Musicians and Technical team comprising of choristers, singers, bandsmen and sound engineers.
Worship Team
Guided by the fact that, God dwells in the praises of his people, the worship team of the music ministry is responsible for the provision of music and leading the church into the presence of God through praise and worship during our services. This is done in an atmosphere of gratitude and thanksgiving where the Spirit of God can move freely and work in the lives of the people.
Media Ministry
This ministry focuses on the handling of musical and public address equipment and also manages the recording and packaging of preached sermons and teachings. They handle the CD’S., DVD’S productions, technical equipment & public address systems.
How beautiful upon the mountains. Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”(Isaiah 52:7).
Outreach Ministry
The purpose of the Outreach Ministries is to develop and send out specific forces of lay ministers which engage every segment of society for the sake of culture transformation through evangelism and the work of the ministry.
Children’s Ministry
Please add: Ages 13 -18 are not left out. On a monthly basis, they get together and are equipped to be outstanding and responsible members of the church as well as the community at large; ready to take up leadership positions and roles wherever they find themselves. A product of YES should leave a positive impression on their peers, siblings and parents.
P.K.M (Priestly Kingly Men)
This represents the men’s fellowship of the church with specialized ministry unique to men. We aim to train, equip and direct men to find their true calling in the church and also to uphold with integrity and love, the role of the head of the Christian home. We assist our men to become good role models for young people in the community.
V.O.H. ( Vessels Of Honor)
Our women’s ministry at Resurrection Fire Chapel International ministers to the entire woman in every stage and sphere of her life, to ensure that she becomes an asset in both the marketplace and at home.
Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work. ( 2Timothy 2:20-21) ESV
Protocol and Hospitality Ministry
These are the wonderful, affable, cheerful and friendly people who welcome you to church every Sunday. They are devoted to helping the church accomplish its vision of providing a loving and welcoming atmosphere in the house of God. They also assist all members in any way possible to make their church experience a memorable one.
Health and Welfare Ministry
This ministry caters for the health and welfare needs of members. In our ministry, we believe that, we are each other’s keeper; hence taking care of the needs of our family is of the highest priority.
